The reason for choosing Instagram to market to Hardcore Gamers: Kieran Choo is because as a hardcore gamer, he uses Instagram to check on gaming updates often. Instagram allows me to creates interesting and engaging posts for him, there is also a huge emphasis on the visuals which will intrigue him, resulting in him wanting to find out more about Gamescom Asia 2021 by visiting the event website.

Example of contents are using Instagram's stories functions such as polls, questions, and quiz to engage with Kieran pre-event, during the event and post event. Another example will be posting, photos, videos of teasers or sneak peaks of upcoming new video games with hashtags example ' #gamescomeasiagames ' from big companies to drive excitement and to build hype, allowing him to be more interested to be register to join the event.

The marketing strategy for Instagram will be separated into pre-event, during the event and post-event. By doing so, it drives excitement in the persona; Kieran before the event, increase in engagement during the event and allow Kieran to relook at the event highlights post-event.

Pre-event:

• Contact information and website link should be added into the Instagram page bio

• Relevant hashtags should be created, example ' #gamescomasiavideogames '

• Use countdown stickers on Instagram Stories to drive registration and ticketing sales.

• Posting sneak peaks and teasers of the upcoming new video games to drive the excitement and to build hype, these posts should also be posted during peak periods such as 5pm.

During the event

• Interview attendees and be posted on stories,

• Use Instagram's stories functions such as doing live polls, questions and quiz to engage with the attendees' and as well as those who are unable to attend the event.

• Thank the attendees for coming by posting appreciation posts
