The reason for choosing Relational Email Marketing to market to Corina from IGN Southeast Asia is because not only is her preferred way of communication, it is a cost-effective way to promote the event, it also helps to deepen the relationship. Additionally, it creates a more personal, custom experience and increase engagement and deepening of event awareness for Corina.


An email should be treated as a personal message and a clear Call-to-Action task which is the sponsorship application form should also be included in the message, or for further discussion on the sponsorship.



Additionally, subject of the email and the design, layout of the email is important as if the email is able to stand out among other emails, it will capture the attention of the recipient.


Examples of contents are important information of Gamescom Asia 2021, what is the reasons for choosing IGN Southeast Asia for sponsorships, why she should be paying attention to the email and why being a sponsorship will be beneficial for her and IGN Southeast Asia. These contents allow her to understand the benefits such as having more brand exposure when companies partner with Gamecom Asia, as well as to drive her decision making process.
